5/5 Houston to Eminence MO

After our 40 mile ride yesterday we were a little reluctant to take on more mileage, but we needed to ride 58 miles 62 miles to get a decent room.  We found only very small rooms in the Shady Lane Motel.  Again we encountered very steep hills, but beautiful views of farms and the forest.  We got to our motel about 3PM with time to eat at a Mexican restaurant to celebrate cinch de Mayo.  We browsed through some shops and headed back to the rooms for a nap.  I napped until 9PM just in time to go to sleep for the night.  Looking forward to some easier hills and continued nice weather tomorrow.
