5/15 Owensboro to Elizabethtown KY

Sunday we woke up in a Super 8 hotel, and they offered a true continental breakfast, however it was not going to work for cyclist. We ended up across the street at Denny's with a proper pancake and eggs breakfast. Then off onto our 81 mile routine ride. We rode past a Baptist church in Fordsville, and the pastor greeted Terry in front of the church and offered cold water, and restrooms to us. Dale was an extremely kind gentleman who took over the pastorship from his father who pastored the church for 46 years.
In Fordsville we went into the local diner for lunch and were welcomed by a pastor from another church who had offered a place to camp for Peter the gentleman from England we had met in Chester, MO. It's a wonderful small world along the trail eastward.
We rode into Eastview, KY and called it a day. On a side note we have moved ahead one hour. A milestone of sorts moving into East Coast time. Still hard to believe we actually pedaled our way here. Our start on April 2nd seems so long ago.
