Day 11 Winslow AZ to Holbrook, AZ

We got going at 7:30am and took the car to Meteor Crater. It was a great side trip and well worth the time spent. We left Winslow at 10:45 am on the bikes and stopped At a truck/auto stop to have an early lunch or brunch. Back on the bikes we road an uneventful ride into Holbrook where we settled into our Wigwam lodging. Not much to see in this town so we had dinner at a local Mexican/American café. Carol and I saw a Rode Runner an extremely fast little bird. Beep, Beep

The Wigwam Motel was a fun and unique way to spend the night. It's not everyday that you can sleep in a historical motel and get to feel the spirit of Route 66.
